The U.S. Institute of Peace has
noted the increase in the number of colleges and universities
exploring how to approach
the teaching of peace, conflict, and security at the undergraduate
level.
In response to this, the Education Program has developed "Building
Global Peace, Conflict, and Security Curricula at Undergraduate
Institutions: A Curriculum Development Guide for Colleges
and Universities" in order to assist institutions in their
efforts. It examines programmatic strategies that can be
employed in a
variety of undergraduate settings: from religious institutions
to community colleges. It can be found at www.usip.org/ed/index.html.
